Pinewood Derby World Championships
A Long Beach Scout and his pinewood derby car was just named Fastest Webelos in the World! See photos. After winning our local derby race, Owen D. from Pack 206/Troop 120 traveled to Times Square in New York City with his dad to participate in the Pinewood Derby World Championships. Congrats, Owen!

Cub Day Camp
Still two more weeks of camp - over 40 boys are enjoying day camp this week! A safe and fun place to be with friends over the summer. Choose from the week of July 20 or July 27.

Aquatics Camp

Webelos Weekend
The most popular event for 4th and 5th graders. Enjoy a weekend of outdoor camping, achievements, and exploring Camp Tahquitz with over 100 fellow Webelos. Online registration now open.  

Climbing Training
A three-day course led by expert climbing instructors. For adults and youth 16+. A terrific opportunity to get your unit climbing. Learn all aspects of climbing, safety, and get real practice time on rocks. Sept. 12, 2015.

Hunter Education: Shooting Sports
A free Hunter Education Course will be held on two dates: Wed. July 29 from 6-9pm and Sat. August 1 from 8am-5pm. This course is offered to all Scouts, their families and friends. Register online.

Navy STEM Days
A great summer activity for Scouts! Check out the Navy Days in San Pedro. Tour ships and inspire future careers in science, tech, engineering, and math. Space limited, don't delay. Groups of 15, length 90 minutes. FREE. YouTube video here.
