JPAM Featured Article
"The Impact of Prenatal Exposure to Power Plant Emissions on Birth Weight: Evidence from a Pennsylvania Power Plant Located Upwind of New Jersey"
By: Muzhe Yang, Ph.D.; Rhea A. Bhatta, Ph.D.; Shin-Yi Chou, Ph.D.; and Cheng-I Hsieh, Ph.D.
This article is aimed at broadening the scope of cross-border pollution impact analysis by taking into account adverse infant health effects of upwind polluters, which can impose disproportionate burdens of health risks on downwind states due to air pollutants transported by wind. As part of our ongoing effort to promote JPAM authors to the APPAM membership and the public policy field at large, we have asked the authors to answer a few questions. See the authors' interview responses here.
