As the holiday season approaches we are flooded with information about "amazing deals" on Black Friday & Cyber Monday. At Jesus Was Homeless, we hope you have room for giving this Christmas season. Giving Tuesday will take place on Tuesday, November 29, and is a very important day for fundraising for non-profit organizations across the country.
This Giving Tuesday, Jesus Was Homeless is looking for an army to help us get the word out to Feed the Kids. Each Thursday, we take a team out to deliver meals to families living in extended stay motels. It's a great opportunity to meet the physical needs of these children and families, which then allows us to earn their trust to meet their spiritual needs and give them the tools they need to work their way out of poverty.
Each meal costs only $1.23 and is a great way to share the love of Jesus AND meet a need. Our goal this Giving Tuesday is to raise $3,075 that will provide 2,500 meals in the coming months. Will you join us?
