Spring 2018 Newsletter

Much has been happening here at A Moment of Hope that we'd like to tell you about, and also about what is ahead.
Meet Our New Intern

First, I'd like to introduce you to our new intern, Emma Tindal, pictured here (left) with our Program Manager, Valerie Berry.

Emma has hit the ground running and is proving to be such a great asset to the ministry. She works about 20 hours per week and is learning about life ministry while helping with projects and spending time talking to mothers in front of the abortion facility.

Our internship is a paid 1-year program with flexible hours. It is ideal for students and those interested in life ministry. And we have room for one more at this time! If you know of anyone that may be interested, please help get the word out. Referrals have been a great source of our interns.
Love of Christ Displayed

Recently, a group of ladies from Common Threads, a knitting and crocheting group from a local church, began providing us with beautiful baby items to give away when mothers have a change of heart or are contemplating one.

Just Tuesday, Valerie was able to give a baby hat to an expecting mother who left before her abortion appointment. Please pray that the Lord will use this gift and encounter so that she does not return.
Midlands Gives is May 1st

Give to A Moment of Hope online through Midlands Gives on May 1st and your donation will be doubled by our generous matching fund donors! See our Midlands Gives page here.

Upcoming Prayer Walk

Join us on Saturday, April 14th from 9 -10 a.m. as we pray and walk around the block where the abortion clinic is located. We will pray for this ministry and others that are working to bring help and hope to mothers in crisis.

Our Latest Training Class

On Saturday, March 24th, we held our most recent training class. We were blessed to have a great group of students that are now better equipped to reach out with our life-saving help and Christ-exalting hope. Our next class is scheduled for September 22, 2018.
SC Life Conference Planned

We are working with Greenville for Life to bring about a statewide life conference on September 8, 2018. The event will take place in Greenville and feature speakers on topics from sidewalk counseling, pregnancy centers, legislation, and more. Watch for more details as they develop.

Thank you for your interest, prayers, and support!
