Arkansas' Largest Garden Show Features Music, Activities, and Expertise

DID YOU KNOW?
The annual Arkansas Flower and Garden Show kicks off Feb 24th at 10 am at the Statehouse Convention Center. 

This year's show promises to wow visitors with:
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and there is no charge for kids 12 and under. 
Get WALKING with friends 

DID YOU KNOW?
Walk Across Arkansas is an 8 week exercise campaign Feb 26 - April 22 where you and your team set personal goals for physical activity and try to meet them.

All you need is:
  • A team of 2 to 10 people                                                                                 
  • A team name
  • A good pair of walking shoes
  • A watch or stopwatch
Not much of a walker? Any type of physical activity is allowed as long as you increase your heart rate! Read more on www.uaex.edu/walk

Pigposium III: Expert help to combat pigweed

DID YOU KNOW? Pigposium III has free admission and will include pigweed-management topics including:
  • Herbicide resistance
  • Cover crops and tillage
  • Herbicide application
  • Off-site movement of dicamba
and a panel discussion about best practices.

The Pigposium begins at 9 am Feb 28 at the
East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City.
