Anyone that knows Skillshop, will know that we care about what we do. To demonstrate this, we have taken steps to set up an AED response systems in Lucan using trained local responders who will have access to several AEDs.

We will provide all the training in Lucan for free! We will also set up the response system for call outs. Please read below for more details, and get in touch if you would like assistance setting up tour local AED scheme.

Community AED Responder Schemes

Skillshop has always been to the fore in assisting people who want to set up schemes for their Sports Club, or their Community.

Now, we can help your Sports or Community Group set up their own scheme.

We can provide training, equipment, and consulting. We also have a few good ideas for fundraising!

Cardiac Arrest Survival rate in Ireland is now 'up' to 7.2%

Lucan AED Responder Scheme

Skillshop is pushing a new AED callout scheme in Lucan

(Charity begins at home after all!)

We are carrying out initial enquiries with the help of Derek Keating TD who is very supportive of the programme. Together we shall be pushing ahead in the coming weeks.

We are now seeking interest from the following:

Community Responder

Sponsors - For discounted equipment

Responders - To be trained in CPR/AED

Trainers - To assist training responders
