Psst... Speaker McNuly, We Are Watching!
 | | We Are Watching |
Are we really going to allow Speaker McNulty to reset committee assignments in order to make sure Civil Unions doesn't pass in special session?
"House Speaker Frank McNulty, who ended debate on all bills Tuesday night just to run out the clock on civil unions, is viewing the special session as "a reset", hinting that he could change committee assignments in order to kill the bill before it can arrive on the House floor." Source KDVR Just Let Them Vote!
If last night's meeting We Are Watching - Give the Civil Unions Act a Fair Hearing meeting is any indication of what lies ahead for the Civil Unions vote, then look out McNulty! You and Representatives Amy Stephens, Mark Waller & Bob Gardner are going to have a very busy few days! Not only did we have the majority of LGBT community leaders present, concerned citizens, which have never been involved in anything like this before, canceled plans to attend with new ideas and substantial support for this ever growing movement. Some even drove all the way down from the edges of county, yes the county, not just the city, to demand that they give the Civil Unions Act a fair hearing. With dozens of groups developing hundreds of plans being driven by thousands of motivated individuals the demand for a promised fair vote is becoming deafening. We, We The People, We the people that are Watching you Speaker McNulty are in the process of changing the face of this state and in fact this country forever. Give The Bill A Fair Vote! Here is a list of many ways you can let your voice be heard! |

SAVE Thousands of Dollars with NEW Program
There is a special program, effective June 11, 2012, being offered by FHA regarding refinancing of your FHA loan. The mortgage insurance premiums are being cut dramatically to only a fraction of what is usually charged on a refinance. This can potentially save you thousands of dollars in mortgage insurance premium and also doesn't require you to have an appraisal. If your property values have dropped and you are concerned about qualifying, this program is for you. To qualify you have to have closed your old FHA loan on or before May 31st, 2009.
If you would like a free consultation to see what this might do for you, please contact my office. Remember that you will be treated as a human being instead of a number here and we will always tell you the truth.

Know Your Rights - Public Accommodations
LGBT Coloradans are protected from discrimination in public accommodations and housing. In May 2008, Governor Bill Ritter signed the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act to add protections for LGBT people in public accommodations (i.e., restaurants and hotels) and housing. A public accommodation is defined as an entity that offers sales or services of any kind to the public: businesses, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, clinics, and health clubs. Under this law, LGBT Coloradans are protected by ensuring landlords and housing entities as well as public accommodations use inclusive business practices. For Coloradans, this means all people now have equal access to sales, services, and housing. More Back To Top
