FCC's Online Public File System Difficulties Reported
At least one Michigan broadcaster has reported some difficulties uploading some files to the FCC's online public file system.  One MAB member station shared a screen shot of the issue, where PDF files are tagged with an "error" notice. Read More

2018 Student Award Winners Announced
Winners of the MAB Foundation's 2018 Michigan Student Broadcast Awards have been announced at StudentBroadcastAwards.com. The college and high school students will be honored along with 2018 scholarship winners during the Great Lakes Media Show on March 7.  Click here to see the list of this year's winning entries.  

Carl E. Lee Engineering Awards Nominations Due February 7
Nominations are being taken for the 2018 Carl E. Lee Broadcast Engineering Excellence Awards. Candidates must have been an employee, officer, or owner of any company, subsidiary or division whose primary business is broadcasting, or is directly in support of radio or television stations in Michigan. The nomination deadline is February 7. The awards will be presented at the Great Lakes Media Show on March 7.  Click here to learn more.

Hall of Fame/Lifetime Achievement Awards
Nominations are now being taken for the 2018 Michigan Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards. This year's honorees will be recognized at the Advocacy Conference & Awards Banquet on August 13 and 14 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
