Message from Nathaniel Saltz, Program Director
The next months at MACV will be busy with outreach to Veterans and building strong partnerships through our five summer Stand Down events. We look forward to seeing our volunteers and partners, and together working towards our mission of ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota.
Our next step in that mission will be to end homelessness for Minnesota’s women Veterans, and our team is working hard to find good housing options for every homeless woman Veteran in the state. With new MACV housing for women Veterans coming online in the next few months, we are excited to reach our goal. As always, I continue to be blown away by our amazing staff and partners who invest so much in our mission, and help Veterans to solve challenges in skillful and creative ways. A heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters, and enjoy your summer!

Painting Service Project at Building 47 May 19th
A special thanks to The Mission Continues Twin Cities Service Platoons along with Wounded Warrior Project, Home Depot and X2 Fitness for the HerService project. This empowering project brought MACV staff, volunteers and service women together to build a small deck with steps, put in a fence, and landscaping at our Womens house in St. Paul.
This painting project brought new life to MACV's Building 47 Program, which houses 13 Veterans on the Minneapolis VA campus. Our MACV staff who work there and the Veterans we serve are grateful for this kind of service work.
