Manage Storage in Mac O/S Sierra

One of our favorite features in Sierra is the ability to manage your disk storage. You can easily determine what is taking up space on your Mac by doing the following:
  • Click the Apple menu (top left corner).
  • Click "About This Mac".
  • Click "Storage".  You'll see a colorful, horizontal bar which will identifies the categories of files and how much space they use (if you hover over each).
  • Click "Manage". On the left sidebbar, you'll see the list of categories. Start with "Documents". Click there and you'll see the files taking up the most space.
  • You can delete files from this window by hovering over the file and clicking on the "x".
