Adobe Flash Update - Yes, it's ok to run the update.

You may have seen some press about viruses called ransomware that takes over your computer for ransom (yes!) and, more recently, may have impacted Adobe's Flash player. You should always be running the latest version of Flash and, when prompted to update, it's safe to do so.

To check if your computer version is the latest, click here.  It will tell you if you're on the latest version and, if you're not, you can install an update from there.

Have you tried the iOS Health app?

This app has lots of features, including tracking your health data and a step counter (for those that don't use a FitBit).

But most importantly, it can be used for emergency purposes to store critical medical and contact information. Try setting up your Medical ID and allow it to be shown when locked.  This way, if someone has access to your phone in an emergency, they can view this information while the phone is still locked.
Just a reminder that you can stop by MACnician for a hardware diagnosis, estimate or 15-minute consultation at no charge.

AppleLearn also has drop-in hours on Mondays 1-2:30 and Thursdays 2-3:30.  Come for a 15-minute session to get your questions answered.
