MAGLEV Project Representatives presentation to Bowie City Council
on July 10th

Dear Friends,

I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the briefing that R epresentatives of the Baltimore Washington Rapid Rails MAGLEV Project will be presenting to the Mayor and City Council of Bowie on July 10th at 8 p.m. at Bowie City Hall. The public is welcome.

The Maryland Department of Transportation is working under a federal grant to study possible routes for a new high speed magnetic train from Baltimore to Washington, D.C.  The only stop between the cities would be at BWI airport.   Several of the proposed routes travel through the city of Bowie, one along the WB & A Trail.

The Representatives of the Baltimore Washington Rapid Rails MAGLEV Project have held one Open House in Bowie and we are awaiting the announcement of additional meetings/presentations. I will send an email announcement as soon as we are notified.  In the meantime, mark your calendars for July 10th at City Hall.  The announcement from the city is posted below.

As always, please feel free to contact me at call 301-858-3101 if you have further questions.  It remains my privilege to represent you.
