Obituary: إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون - To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return:

  • Sr. Naglaa Yousof's brother, passed away in New Jersey. May Allah (swt) grant     him the highest place in Jannah and may Allah (swt) grant patience to the family. Please keep the family in your prayers.

    Request For Prayer:
    • Br. Akbar Raffiuddin's father, Br. Rafiiudin is in critcal care in Lehigh Valley Hospital. May Allah(swt) bless him with the full recovery (Ameen).
    • Br. Ahmad Saleh is also in Lehigh Valley hospital, we pray that Allah(swt) bless him with full recovery(Ameen).

     

    Jumu'ah Prayers:  

    • This Friday, Imam Yousef Abdallah will be the Khateeb.

    Daylight saving time ends on Sunday March 8th : 
    • Jumma Khutba following that week will start from 1:15 pm on March 13th, 2015.

    Sisters Tea Time: Saturday February 28th at 3:00 pm
    • The monthly Sisters Tea Time will be this coming Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at MALV. There will be a lecture on "Our Children's Mental Health".
    • Guest speakers are Dr. Tayyiba Jan, Srs. Hebat El-Turky, Fatima Nabavian, Souad Azim
    • Light refreshments will be served. For further information please contact  Sr. Nahed or Sr.Sherrine Eid

    MALV Soup Kitchen:
    • MALV Outreach will be hosting the soup kitchen on Tuesday March 3rd.
    • There will be two teams of volunteers who will be working either from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm or from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm.
    • If you'd like to volunteer please contact Sr. Deeba. 
    • The soup kitchen is located at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 38 South 8th Street, Allentown (between Walnut St. & 8th Street).
    Manarah Islamic Academy / Sunday School Announcements: 
    • The Manarah Islamic Academy is still looking for teachers to fill vacant positions. If you know anyone who may be interested please refer them to the Academy. 
    • Sunday School is very short on volunteer teachers. If you can help or know someone please contact Sr. Pina.
