Quick Note - MANS Social Justice Grant Webinars
Since 2006, MANS has sponsored a social justice grant for educators in honor of former board member and social justice advocate Helen Casey. Mrs. Casey led a very active life, from her graduation from Lansing Central High School in January 1938 until her death in 2005.  She was a member-at large of the Board of Trustees for the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools from 1969 to 1991.

Mrs. Casey was motivated to support projects that assisted those experiencing poverty in the categories of economic development, social development, education, health, housing, legal aid, transportation, and communications.  She worked diligently to change attitudes of the general public on the root causes of poverty.  MANS is pleased to continue her work through these social justice grants.
