The MAOS Gala was held on September 9th in the beautiful Ferrante Room at the top of the Monterey Marriott. Guests were treated to a delicious buffet dinner, dancing, fabulous auction items, and an amazing dessert auction. Special thanks to MAOS Parent and board member Callie Muller for co-chairing this event, as well as the many other parent volunteers who helped make this a very special night!

MAOS Welcome Picnic Starts off the School Year
|
The MAOS Welcome Picnic was held at Lover's Point Park - a new location this year - on August 14th, and there were a record number of attendees! The food was delicious (thanks to Mr. von Saltza, David Nemiroff and Rob Rhoades for manning the bbq), and to everyone who brought a dish to share!

MAOS Beautification
Project!
We are very to excited to share that MAOS is planning a cross-curricular landscape design project involving all grade levels. As part of this project, MAOS students, parents, faculty and community members are working together to create an environmentally friendly space for the MAOS students to enjoy. This area is just outside Mr. Woods' and Mrs. Ramirez's classroom. MAOS students will be doing the designing and building, and will be working together both inside and outside of their classrooms.
