aH we had a GREAT start to Spring Quarter ( poster will be on MAPS Website) with our recent discussion on the Holy Quran. Thank you all for your input last Friday!! Remember, make an intention to make the Quran a part of our daily lives :)

We had a great discussion last quarter about the importance of African Americans and specifically Muslim African Americans so let's continue to build on our knowledge! We meet at MAPS and will leave no later than 10:30am. Carpools will be provided inshAllah so I need to hear BY THURSDAY. If the weather is decent, we can also head to downtown Seattle afterwards and have some ice cream on the pier :) 

Feeding the Needy with UMR-UW
The youth worked with United Muslim Relief-UW to make tuna sandwiches for the needy at the beginning of this month mA!
 
Monthly Discussion: Convert-sations
  We are thankful for guest speakers Samuel Chesneau
& Dr. Michael Vicente Perez for sharing their stories of coming to Islam as well as challenges they've faced along the way and continue to face. It was truly enlightening and we pray that Allah (swat) rewards them for all of their effort and help ameen!

End of the Quarter Banquet
  Great review of the quarter and congrats to all the youth that had a 3.5 GPA or higher mashAllah!! Super proud of you all!!

1st Place in State for Extemporaneous Health Poster, 1st place in State for Public Service Announcement (both for HOSA competitions) and getting elected HOSA WASHINGTON STATE VICE PRESIDENT

Congrats to Rayyan Hussain and Ali Memon  for establishing a business for their High School! 

Congrats to Afifah
who has joined our list of growing students who have talked to their counselors at schools and established set rooms for prayers mashAllah! :)
