MAS Summer Camp Program at ISGKC

Alhamdulillah, the annual "I Love Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)" MAS Summer Camp Program at ISGKC has once again been in session this summer, under the leadership of Sr. Maisa Jouhari. The program began June 10th and will end on July 18th, Insha'Allah. The students have been learning Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies, along with basic math skills, art, sports, and going on field trips! Jazakum Allah Khair to the teachers who have dedicated their time to these students as well as to the parents who have allowed their children to make productive use of their summer, Alhamdulillah.

On May 26th, MAS Youth sponsored a graduation pincic at Heritage Park in honor of Kansas City community graduates. Brothers and sisters who graduated from high school or college were recognized in front of nearly 200 members of the community. Br. MAS Youth Brothers' Trip to Arkansas

Alhamdulillah, a group of thirty male youth traveled to Arkansas for a weekend in June where they stayed at a resort off the shore of the White River. The youth arrived Friday night and enjoyed a fun-packed Saturday including hiking, games, and boating in the great Norfork Lake. The youth developed teamwork through splitting into groups for cooking, cleaning, salah, etc. Overall it was a great trip where the youth had a blast while building brotherhood and developing the theme of 'Himma' - Ambition!
