The Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP) assists individuals and families with low incomes in renting a home. Each participant pays up to 40 percent of his or her monthly income towards rent and the voucher covers the remaining amount. MRVP provides a permanent improvement in the lives of low-income families and individuals by offering tenant-based vouchers. The voucher is assigned to the participant and is valid for any housing unit that meets the standards of the state sanitary code.

Contact [email protected] if you have vacancies you would like to make available for this program.

How is MRVP different from Section 8?
Below are some of the distinctions between these two popular rental assistance programs.
