CONGRESSMAN EARL BLUMENAUER TO SPEAK AT MBUFA QUARTERLY MEETING

United States Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) will be among the featured speakers at the upcoming MBUFA Quarterly Meeting on September 28. A longtime proponent of federal transportation funding reform, Congressman Blumenauer will speak on the potentials for a mileage-based user fee system in the future.

Also featured at the meeting will be Robert Arnold, Director of the Office of Transportation Management at the Federal Highway Administration who will be on hand to discuss the "Surface Transportation System Funding Alternative" grant program. He will be taking questions and suggestions about the program and the program's future.
