ARPEC's fall term begins Monday, September 9!
ARPEC Director of Training Phil Rodin reminds all contractors to make sure that apprentices are not scheduled to be on call on class nights, per the CBA. ADDITIONAL CURRICULUMThis apprenticeship year includes newly expanded curriculum, including the addition of an extensive customer service program, crane signaling training and certification, as well as the UA / MCAA "Full Cost of an Hour of Labor" training, which helps apprentices understand all of the costs (in addition to wages) that contractors must pay per hour of work. In order to accommodate this additional material, the 2013-2014 school year was extended by two weeks. INSTRUCTORS:Please click here to download a list of 2013-2014 instructors. MCASF FISHING TOURNAMENT

Congratulations!
MCASF Fishing Tournament Chairman Wayne Masur congratulates Corey Balko, son of Mike Balko, Trane, who received his $10,000 award for catching a 46+ lb mahi mahi at the Association's tournament earlier this year. The prize, which was insured through an underwriting company, was released earlier this week to young Mr. Balko who says that he has "lots of ideas" for how to spend that prize money!
