About MCS Legacy Events - Legacy events are a part of our Parent Enrichment/Education offerings. These are mornings that serve to intentionally help us pause and reflect and evaluate how we are building our legacy as parents and as a families. We lean heavily on experience from speakers who are either one step ahead of us in parenting, or who are able to share from a perspective that provides wisdom, inspiration and insight.

Scouting Makes a Difference
Scouting Makes a Difference! As MCS parents, you want your son to grow up to be self-reliant, dependable and caring. Since 1910, Cub Scouts have been weaving lifelong values into fun and educational activities designed to assist parents by strengthening character, teaching participatory citizenship, promoting physical fitness and inspiring leadership. For over twenty years, Mariners Christian School has sponsored and supported Cub Scout Pack 0360, for boys in 1-5 grades at MCS.

Our Back to School Kickoff Pack Meeting is next Tuesday, 9/12, from 5-6 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) at MCS, just before Back to School Night where we will be hosting a booth with photos, flyers, calendar and other fun handouts like patches.

Want to learn more? Contact Cubmaster Brian Cowell at [email protected] or Pack Chairman JR Richardson at [email protected].

Yours in Scouting,

Schoology Fall Parent Workshop for Middle School Parents
This fall, MCS will be offering Schoology Fall Parent Workshops to go over the key features of Schoology for Middle School parents. We will cover how to:
  • View your child's upcoming assignments and missing assignments
  • View their grades
  • View and use the "Schoology Agenda" feature
  • Use the Schoology Calendar
  • Message your child's teachers through Schoology
We are limiting the sessions to groups of 6 so we can maximize the ability to help attendees and address any questions.

This will be a great, small workshop for parents to learn more about how to use Schoology and answer any questions you may have!
