SUMMER 2018
It is an exciting time for the Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund! We are celebrating growth through our new annual event, Legacy Tree of Giving campaign and advisory board. With this growth, we have also taken steps to maintain the vision of our three founding mothers.
On June 14, 2018, the Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund kicked off its new annual Seasons of Giving event with a bang, awarding a record $22,200 in grants to seven local nonprofit organizations. These grants included the fund’s first-ever impact grant to the Children’s Center of Medina County.
In June, the Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund gained four new advisory board members. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Katie Branca, Lauren Disbennett, Heather Frey and Amy Immel.
Events
Local leaders gathered at the Blue Heron Event Center in Medina to honor outstanding role models in Medina County during Seasons of Giving on June 14, 2018. The new annual event focused on the importance of philanthropy with a keynote exchange between Suzanne Allen, Ph.D., president and CEO of Philanthropy Ohio, and Barbara Dzur, economic development and marketing associate for the City of Medina. We thank everyone who attended Seasons of Giving.
