OACES (Office of Adult and Career Education Services) is hosting an open house at its facility on Hart Street in the City of Rochester. This is an opportunity for business partners to meet students and tour the facility. OACES provides electrical, carpentry, and culinary skills to potential employees. Student ambassadors will be operating automotive and electrical equipment as a way of showcasing their talents.
OACES offers adults in Rochester a comprehensive range of career related services that focus on transition to employment, advanced training and post-secondary education. OACES programs are available throughout the year. There are many different programs and classes available that provide continuing education and career training. Students may finish their high school education, take English (ESL) classes and can even become U.S. citizens.
