Families will have an opportunity to explore school options for students in all grades, Pre-K through 12, at the RCSD Expo and Fair this Saturday at the MCC Downtown Campus. Free parking is available.
It is time to choose a Rochester city school for students entering Pre-K, Kindergarten, seventh, and ninth grades next year. Visitors to the RCSD Expo and Fair will be able to interact with staff at individual school exhibits to learn more about what each school offers. Placement staff will be available to assist with the school selection process, and parents can enroll students for 7th and 9th grades and register students for Pre-K and Kindergarten on site. Visit

There will be student performances throughout the day, fun activities for children, and the Path Forward 21st Century Schools Interactive showcase, where visitors can learn about RCSD’s Digital Transformation journey. Through the use of technology and modern classrooms, the District is transforming the environments in its schools with the goal of deepening students’ learning. From blog posts, video creation, 3D printing, robotics, app creation and more, students in grades Pre-K through 12 are using tools that will not only enhance their learning, but also prepare them with the 21

century skills needed for college and career success.
