The Henry Hudson School No. 28's Greatest of All Time
(G.O.A.T.) Advanced Band will be performing at the Frederick Douglass Memorial
Homage Motorcade & Poster Contest on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at Frederick Douglass Memorial Square. The G.O.A.T. band received its name from the band
members—students
in grades 5 through 8 who have been playing their instruments for a minimum of two years.
Immediately after the performance there will be a reception at the South Avenue Recreation Center located at 999 South Avenue. This concert is just one of the many special events occurring during the 2018 Frederick Douglass Freedom Festival, which will be taking place throughout the weekend of June 8-10.
The Frederick Douglass Freedom Festival is presented by The Friends of Frederick Douglass.
