CHICAGO, Ill. - (Nov. 6, 2017) – Members of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry celebrate taking home several awards from the Academy of General Dentistry Universal Awards this past weekend in Chicago at the AGD's annual House of Delegates.

Constituents, such as the Texas AGD, are eligible for the awards based on points and rated by AGD's related committees and regional directors. In category 1, Texas AGD, headquartered in Austin, won Constituent of the Year, Advocacy Achievement, William W. Howard-ACE (newsletter/communications) Award, Continuing Education Award of Excellence, and the Public Information Award of Excellence.

"I'm extremely proud of the dedication from volunteer leaders and the Texas AGD staff," said President, Jeff Geno, DDS, MAGD, League City, Texas. "We are a true community of general dentists and our leadership is passionate about providing lifelong education for the success of all our members. These awards are a good representation of the high level of dedication our components provide throughout Texas."
