Safety in the metal building and roofing industry is always of top priority. Two leading field safety experts will deliver important safety updates at METALCON 2018 . Joe Allen with Thomas Phoenix International will present “Arrested Developments” an overview of the new requirements for personal fall protection systems, including a new fixed ladder guard, full body harnesses and personal fall arrest systems on Wednesday, October 10 from 3:00 - 3:30 pm. And then on Thursday, October 11 from 3:00 - 3:30 pm, join David Weatherford, Quality Safety Manager with Tyler Building Systems, as he reviews the use of cell phones in the workplace in his session titled, “Driven to Distraction : Why This Isn’t Changing.” Both sessions will take place in the NEW METALCON Theat e r located on the show floor, followed by a Safety Party in The Deck. This is all included in your “Total Experience” registration.
