Who's your buddy when you have food? Baloo!
Baloo is a German/Dutch Breed dog called Keeshond that
were bred to serve as a highly sensitive alert system for small river barges.
This trait has lead to daily false alarms in our home when doorbell sounds emit from the TV, the same neighbor Baloo has known for a year comes home, or any odd sound is noticed.
He is always ready to act as if he were 10 times his size......well, verbally.
He is a loving companion who enjoys the outdoors and will actually groan and roll his eyes walking to the front door if he does not get his way. Park time is a must!
While Dad loves to cook, I do not share human food with my fur son. But his overwhelming desire to be close to someone when eating has lead him to encroach
on anyone's personal space at meal or snack time. So most likely he has found willing participants to share their good food with him. I suspect this is
why Mom is his favorite person in the house.
There is no one else more excited to see you when you come home from work or a long trip. He will even help you take your socks off whether you
request help or not. Socks are one of his favorite things to have and to steal.
We absolutely love having our sweet loving fluffy alarm system and he feels the same way about us. Especially if it comes with a bacon treat!
