Greetings!

Ready or not, the summer season is now upon us. The huts will soon be ready for full-service, welcoming summer visitors.  The trails have dried out from the recent wet weather and are in great shape for summer hiking. The new Enchanted section of the Maine Huts Trail will be open to hiking and biking for the first summer ever.

New adventure packages are in place for each hut and other special guided trips are also being offered. Some include multi-sport activities such as a  kayak & hike excursion and hike & raft packages. Reservations are running well ahead of last summer and we encourage people to make their summer hut plans soon. Call toll free, 877-634-8824 or make your reservations on-line at mainehuts.org

During the summer and fall, people use our system in a variety of ways. Some enjoy the hut-to-hut adventure, while others choose one hut to use as a base for day hikes, mountain biking, paddle sports, fishing, birding, swimming and just plain relaxing. Read more about summer hut activities.

We still have some room in our July fly fishing schoolPontoon boat tours to Flagstaff Hut begin June 22nd and we will host our special family weekends at Poplar Hut the weekends of July 13th and August 3rd. As you can see, there is a lot to do at Maine Huts & Trails during the next few months.
