Adopt A Mile on Floyd Road
Saturday, April 4th at 9am

Our next Adopt-a-Mile of 2015 will be Saturday, April 4th, starting promptly at

Thanks to our hardy January volunteers!

9:00am. We will meet at the Westside Bank at Floyd and Nickajack Roads. Please park in the area closest to Nickajack Road.

With the first phase of the Floyd Road improvement project complete, we have returned to the segment between the Post Office and the old Rite Aid store where Floyd and Hicks Roads intersect.  With the road widening and traffic islands, it's a bigger job than before, so your help will be greatly appreciated.  We had a great turnout in January and hope to be as fortunate this time.

It takes only about an hour for MIC volunteers to pick up the accumulated trash and it's an hour well spent! Floyd Road will look a whole lot better when we are done. Wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring gloves if you like. We provide latex gloves, safety vests, trash bags, bottled water -- and a warm welcome.
