National Oatmeal Month

As temperatures dip and we all feel like hibernating til Spring, January is the perfect time to think oatmeal! January happens to be National Oatmeal Month. Here are a couple of ways to spread some kindness with an oatmeal theme.

- Bake a batch of oatmeal cookies and deliver them to your local police department, an elderly neighbor or leave them in the mailbox for your mail delivery person.  Click here for a recipe.

- Organize an oatmeal drive for a local food pantry. Of course, all donations are appreciated but it might be fun to focus on donations of oatmeal.  It is a nutritious meal that warms the soul.

Volunteers Needed
Our mission is simple... and it's important.

But it can't happen without the awesome efforts of our volunteers.  Join our team!  Maybe you can help with fundraising or marketing.  Perhaps you have a couple of hours to spare packing boxes or for office work.  The donation of your time is so needed and very much appreciated.

When you take a look at the numbers.  The hours our volunteers served.  The amount of projects that were created and delivered.  The lives that were impacted!  It's all pretty incredible.  Be watching for our Gratitude Report coming soon.  Prepare to be amazed!
