Why do we host an annual Arts Gala?
- To showcase the incredible art produced at Madison Middle School in 30 visual art classes, five drama classes, 12 sections of choral music, and an accomplished group of strings students.
- To celebrate the diverse interests and talents of more than two thirds of our student body, affording these students a night to shine.
- To provide young artists the opportunity to stage a large-scale cultural event in our community, with added incentive to perform and produce work of the highest quality.
- To foster collaboration between MMS and our surrounding community, by bringing in regional artisans, retailers, and restaurants and chefs.
- To promote the excellence of our Madison schools to the local public, with a night of family entertainment featuring the arts,popular dining choices, and a unique array of gifts for purchase.
- To raise funds for our PTO, with the sole purpose of enhancing the educational experience of every student at Madison Middle School.
As we kick off the winter holiday season, the Arts Gala is a delightful means to foster collaboration with local talent in our community.
The local public is invited to enjoy a night of free family entertainment featuring original art and live art performances, along with popular dining choices, a unique array of gifts for purchase, and an exciting collection of gift baskets and silent auction items.
The Arts Gala is a major fundraiser, as sales from the Silent Auction, Gift Baskets, and Booth Fees help fund our PTO. Every dollar earned is used solely to enhance the educational experience of each student.
