Budget negotiations are continuing to move forward at the Minnesota Capitol at this time. As of yet, there is no formal agreement on what the Health and Human Services target will be. However, as legislative leaders and the Governor move forward with coming to a global compromise, we must make sure that they make the long term investments that the Health and Human Services Conference Committee has prioritized in the Disability Waiver Rate System.
Please contact the Governor and legislative leaders within the next 24 hours with this simple message:
“The long term investments in the Disability Waiver Rate System that were included in the Health and Human Services Conference Committee report are critical to ensure the stability and availability of community based disability services for Minnesotans. In the final days of session, Minnesotans are counting on you to make sure that these services are prioritized.”
