May is a great month for educational events across the state. Two of our most popular speakers are coming back to Tennessee. On May 13th you can see Shawna Suckow, who was our keynote speaker for CONNECT, will be in the West Region. And then on May 14th Rick Weaver, who did our January Central Educational Luncheon, will be Knoxville. We will be at Gary Musick Productions on May 21st in Nashville. If you have not already registered, please take a moment to do so. Bring a friend. We are just six weeks away from our GALA and Auction. This year we will be at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Our auction is now live on biddingforgood.com. Take a few moments to visit our site. We will be adding items daily. If you can donate items, please contact Karin Eggert at [email protected]. It is also time to be thinking about WEC. Go to mpiweb.org to find out more about it. If you have never been, I encourage you to do so. Making connections is what we all do. What better way than attending WEC. Congratulations to Katie Rogers. Jack Edward Rogers arrived at 3:00 a.m. May 6th. Just adorable!
It is a pleasure to be your President for the 2013-2014 year.

Community Service Projects for May!
There are several opportunities to serve our community in the month of May. Here are just a few of them:
The Central Region will be collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House Nashville at their educational Luncheon on May 21.
The Central Region will also be assembling Hygiene Kits at the Nashville Cares office on May 22 at 5:00 p.m.. There will be a 1 hour orientation (HIV Education) followed by assembling the kits as a group. Nashville Cares is located at 633 Thompson Lane and will provide the bags for the items. All of the items for the bags will be provided by Scarlett Coffman, CMP and Diane Enright. Please contact Scarlett by clicking here if you are able to help.
