This awards ceremony is dedicated to highlighting multicultural students and organizations at Iowa State University. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to dress up for this elegant affair! Applications are being accepted for the Jack Trice Character Award. Two scholarships will be awarded to current undergraduate students at Iowa State, and two scholarships will also be awarded to incoming first-year students. All recipients should exemplify the merits and attributes of Jack Trice as students and leaders in the community. Applications are due Friday, April 6th!

Engineering the Way is a 4K walk/run fundraising for the 50K Coalition, with an overall mission: "to graduate 50,000 diverse engineers by 2025." This coalition is a commitment to educational success of diverse engineering students, through the partnership formed by four different national organizations. On Iowa State's campus, three of these engineering student organizations are represented, NSBE, SHPE, and SWE, and these organizations are collaborating to create this awareness fundraising. However, over 15 engineering professional societies are also a part of this campaign. All money from participants will be donated to the national 50K Coalition campaign. This cost will be $15/participant. 

The Language Studies Resource Center in the Department of World Languages and Cultures is looking to hire three to four new undergraduate assistants beginning in Fall 2018. View full position description and application at this link. Applications are due Sunday, April 8th!
The Multicultural Student Leadership Council will be hosting their second leadership workshop for the semester. Self-care is an important practice that we all need to set as a priority for our well-being attend this workshop to learn tips and tricks to incorporate self-care into your routine as Finals Week approaches.
