The Memorial Tabernacle Church Family bows and humbly submits to the will of the Eternal and Almighty God
in his infinite wisdom to call home from his labor to receive his reward the death of our son, brother, and friend
BROTHER RICHARD MOSES
. BROTHER RICHARD passed away in a car accident in Eureka, CA Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
As a young boy and until he relocated to Eureka for a fresh start with his family, Brother Richard was a member of Memorial Tabernacle Church. He participated in Sunday School, served as an usher, and knew how to make you smile and laugh. Bro Richard was constantly covered in prayer as other saw and knew the call upon his life.
In a voicemail Bro Richard left on my wife’s cell in December, he testified about the goodness of God, the transformation in his life, and his desires to return to place where it all had begun to say “Thank you!”
Bro Richard shared he was praying for the revival to breakout at Memorial Tabernacle. Hallelujah!
Bro Richard, your prayers and desires for Memorial Tabernacle Church have not fallen on deaf ears. We honor the life you led, and we celebrate your journey. Though we are saddened you are no longer with us physically, we can rejoice because you are one step closer to where we all desire to be.
As you were driving Wednesday, February 28, 2018, God called you home. God saw that your work was complete at the tender age of 24. Though you never made it back to 58th and Telegraph to share with your church family what God had done and was doing in your life and in your family’s life, your impact has been made. You will never be forgotten.
We were all able to “see” Richard’s REDEMPTION, and because of that, we REJOICE!
The Memorial Tabernacle Church, members, its ministers, leadership, and I, Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr. will miss this servant who was on fire for the Lord and gave selfishly to us and the body of Christ at-large in his 24 years of life.

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them."
