USC SUMMER GUITAR SEMINAR 2015

We had another great month over at USC for The 2015 Summer Guitar Seminar. June 15th-July 10th.   
Thirteen 10th, 11th and 12th grade high school students flew in from all over the country to participate in a month long college prep seminar where they studied for 6 hours a day for 4 weeks straight!  Guitar Bootcamp in other words!  Preparations for next years seminar are already happening.  Tentative dates June 13th - July 8th 2016.  Stay tuned for details.

Hosting Scholarship Students from  
Fundación Danilo Perez


I was honored to have been part of bringing these two talented scholarship students from Panama's Fundación Danilo Perez, to Los Angeles for two weeks to study at The Crossroads Summer Jazz Camp led by Evan Avery! The picture below was shot on stage at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA after our successful show.  Trumpeter Richard Santamaria & Pianist Caroline Centeno were a pleasure to work with and they were both great ambassadors for their country! Practice hard, get rewarded! Special thanks to Danilo Perez, Patricia Zarate and Luis Carlos Pérez for coordinating the exchange and to Graciela Núñez for chaperoning them. They'll all be special guests at my August 28th show in Panama!
