Fall 2017

This summer MY HERO celebrated 22 years online. Today we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new web site. We have new improved tools for teachers and students to create and share inspiring hero stories with our global online community.

Please look over our newsletter and use our freely accessible resources to enrich learning in the classroom, home and in community arts centers. All are invited to join our celebration of the best of humanity.

MY HERO @iEARN Morocco
This year, MY HERO educators Cheikh Darou Seck,  Mohamed Sidibay, and Laura Nietzer  traveled to Marrakech, Morocco, for the 2017 iEARN Conference and Youth Summit.  Seck, MY HERO's site administrator in Senegal, began his association with MY HERO during iEARN's 2004 Conference in Slovakia.

iEARN is a place to "meet good friends to have some good time, exchange practices and share some good jokes," said Cheikh Darou Seck , "But it's also a place that can challenge your beliefs about people and places around the world."
