2nd "Find Yourself Friday" Event!

Cell phones for soldiers

After a successful first "Find Yourself Friday" youth event, the JAG Youth Council and Milford Youth Center hosted their second event on Friday, March 25th from 7-10 pm.

This month the youth chose to hold a dance and collect old cell phones for the Cell Phones for Soldiers recycling program.  Each month the youth discuss and choose an issue they would like to address and an organization that they would like to benefit from the event. The event included included music, dancing, raffles, games, snacks, and the movie WALL-E! We had 150 youth attend the event and collected over 100 cell phones- far surpassing the goal the youth set for the night!

2nd Annual MYC St. Pat's Dinner/Dance a successful night!

St. Patricks Day imageThe Milford Youth Center Commission and the director would like to thank everyone who attended, donated, supported and volunteered to make the second annual St. Pat's Dinner Dance a success.

It was a wonderful evening attended by approximately 300 people.  Another incredible meal was served by Oliva's catering and dancing went on into the night with music by DJ Ron Auger.

Without your support we could not accomplish the many great things we do for the children of our community. We look forward to your continued support and thank you all again for making it such a wonderful evening.
