The Milford Youth Center Commission and the director would like to thank everyone who attended, donated, supported and volunteered to make the third annual St. Pat's Dinner Dance a success. It was another wonderful evening with an incredible meal served by Oliva's catering and dancing went on into the night with music by DJ Ron Auger. Without your support we could not accomplish the many great things we do for the children of our community. We look forward to your continued support and thank you all again for making it such a wonderful evening!

Summer Camp information will be available soon!

JAG Youth Council
Next Find Yourself Friday and Updates!

MYC YouthThe JAG Youth Council sent 13 youth to Anna Maria College for the 4th Annual District Attorney's Underage Drinking Prevention Conference. The youth participated in workshops, presented a table, which had the video "100 Reasons to Get Dressed Up, Not Messed Up" playing, and explored other groups around Massachusetts working towards underage drinking prevention. We would like to thank Alyssa Pacific, Susan Braza, and Kristin Nogler, for providing transportation to our youth to the conference, allowing all youth to participate in this fun conference.

The next Find Yourself Friday will be held on Friday, April 27th from 6:30- 9 PM. The JAG Youth Council decided to have the proceeds of the event to go towards the Invisible Children campaign. After seeing the Kony 2012 video, JAG Youth Council members were inspired to help get the word out and become more knowledgeable about the issue. The youth will be selling cupcakes and M & M's at the event to go towards the cause as well! Join us for music, dancing and to support a good cause!

Finally, JAG Youth Council members look forward to attending the annual Youth Venture Summit this year in Washington DC. Last year four members attended the leadership summit in Milwaukee.  The Youth Venture Summit is the annual gathering of the Youth Venture community. The conference brings together over 100 Youth Venturers and young leaders interested in creating change, as well as the adult allies and professionals who support young changemakers. If anyone would like to help sponsor and/or donate so more Youth can attend this year, please contact Amy Leone at communityimpactinc@gmail.com or 508-864-6509.
