From the dark days of the early 1970's, when the poor environmental condition of the Charles River and Boston Harbor was a badge of dishonor, to the return of swimming and even a brewing contest drawn from the Charles, the dragnet of Clean Water Act initiatives is producing significant gains.  
No lame duck on environmental matters as the Obama Administration and EPA continue to advance broad environmental initiatives, including a fresh start for TSCA.

With the major pipelines losing steam and Governor Baker signing an important renewable energy bill, Massachusetts continues to be in the forefront of embracing alternative energy initiatives.
