Another review, this from best-selling author, James O. Born:
"An Honorable War takes the reader on a journey of passion and drama that history often overlooks. With the Spanish-American war as a backdrop, Robert Macomber weaves a great story of not only honor, but action and love."

TRAVELING IN PETER'S WAKE
TO NEW YORK, USA
|
In my most recent novel,
An Honorable War
,
I depicted a fascinating place in 1897;
one which readers can visit today.
Sagamore Hill was Theodore Roosevelt's
home from 1885 until he died in 1919.
Now reopened after several years of
detailed renovation, it's located about
30 miles east of New York City, near Oyster Bay
on Long Island. For more details, visit:
|
|
John Streeter, wearing his Onward & Upward hat,
stops at the Ferdinand de Lesseps Monument
in Panama, remembering the storyline in
A Different Kind of Honor and the history
of the building of the Panama Canal.
Have a photo of a Wakian wearing our hat or using our koozie? Send it by email, and, as space permits, we'll post it in an upcoming newsletter.

EXPERIENCE CUBA NOW
|
It's been quite a year so far. I've been traveling a lot on my book signing and lecture tours ~ 2,000 miles by car, 4,300 miles by ship, and 12,500 miles by airplane. And I'm only halfway through the year. There is more travel coming!
I hope you'll join me in December to experience exotic, beautiful Cuba. You'll understand why I love the people and history there so much.
I'm ready to go back!
Rest assured, our tour complies with all the new federal rules.
Onward & Upward, my friends ...
