Special Exhibition Opening Reception 
Greetings!

You are cordially invited to attend the opening reception of Made in Medway: Exploring Medway's Past Through Contemporary Art this coming Saturday, April 7th at the Stone Mill Art Gallery in Medway.  This is a special exhibition in collaboration with guest curator Kate Laurel Burgess-Mac Intosh and the Medway Historical Society as the town approaches its 300th anniversary. We look forward to seeing you here to discover the story of Medway's history as well as it's present as we celebrate this talented group of Massachusetts artists!

Made in Medway is a unique exhibition of new works inspired by historic artifacts from the collection of the Medway Historical Society. In this exhibit, contemporary artists will explore history though interpretations of historical objects related to the industries and household production in Medway.

 Artists featured in the exhibition include: Leika Akiyama, Lasse Antonsen, Kathleen Bitetti, Mary Burgess, Kate Laurel Burgess-Mac Intosh, Maggie Carberry, Crystal Cawley, Kathleen Driscoll, Nicole Farland, Robert Festa, Jan Johnson, Alison Poor-Donahue, Rhonda Ratray, Bradford Rusick, and Leslie Schomp.

  

The exhibition runs from Saturday, April 7 through Friday, June 8, 2012.

The gallery is located in Suite 113, in the back of the Stone Mill along route 109 in Medway, Massachusetts.

Parking is available behind the building and our doors are open every Friday and Saturday from noon until 6pm or by appointment.
