Kevin

Hold onto your hats folks!  This kid has got spunk and personality that will stop you dead in your tracks!  But don't get us wrong....somehow he has mastered the art of being outgoing and gregarious, and at the same time sweet and kind.  It's safe to say Kevin is the full package.  This guy's smile will light up your world!  Kevin just turned 6, and is diagnosed with facial swelling.  He is available for adoption from China.  There is a $2,000 grant available to the family who adopts Kevin, as well as the $1,000 'Children Still Wait' grant for any family who applies and contracts with MAA by December 31, 2017. Email Sarah Hansen for more information about Kevin.

Elizabeth

Shy, bashful, introverted.  Elizabeth is a quiet girl, but endearing to those who meet her.  It is still uncertain if her shy demeanor is natural, or if she is still adjusting.  As, Elizabeth only joined the orphanage at the age of 5.  Elizabeth has some developmental delays, but she can communicate her needs and understand what is going on around her.  Elizabeth is described to have an average intelligence level.  She can have simple conversations, and is independent in self-care.  Elizabeth needs a forever family who will accept her for who she is, and support her with resources so she can thrive!  Elizabeth is 7 ½ and diagnosed with developmental delays.  She is available for adoption from China. There is a $1,000 grant available to the family who steps forward for Elizabeth, as well as the additional 'Children Still Wait' $1,000 grant.  Email Sarah Hansen  for more information.

Zara

Zara is described as serene, helpful, and respectful.  She is motivated in academics and sports, and stands out at school with her academic performance.  Zara enjoys activities associated with the Catholic religion, and is a very spiritual young lady.  Zara has endured things that no child her age should ever have to endure.  She continues to work through her past trauma, and has expressed a strong desire to have a forever family.  Zara is 13 years old and healthy, and available for adoption from a South American country.  There is a $2,000 grant available to the family who steps forward for Elizabeth, as well as the additional 'Children Still Wait' $1,000 grant.  Email Misty Lucas for more information.

Maura

Her story is hers to share.  But trust us, it is a story of strength, resilience, and proof that this girl is destined for greatness.  Maura is described as happy, smart, positive, and artistic.  A young girl who doesn't let anything hold her back.  She is a loyal friend, who always strives to 'keep the peace.'  Our own Michelle McGowan had the pleasure of meeting her, and all of Michelle's accolades will not fit into this summary!  Maura dreams of a family.  And the family who steps out in faith for her will be the lucky ones!  Maura is 10-years-old and resides in a small Asian country.  While she does have special needs, they are physical in nature, and not cognitive.  There is a $2,000 grant available to the family who adopts Maura, as well as the $1,000 'Children Still Wait' grant for any family who applies and contracts with MAA by December 31, 2017.  Email Amanda Felizardo for more information about Maura.

Every day they wait is one too many without a family.  Please consider our waiting children.  They need you.  In addition to the standard MAA grants these children are eligible for, we are also happy to offer an additional $1,000 'Children Still Wait' grant to families who sign on by the end of 2017.
