Hamilton Ranch Wins Madison County Fair Ranch Rodeo
Twin Bridges, MT— The Hamilton Ranch team won the Twin Bridges Ranch Rodeo at the Madison County Fair, August 9, 2018.

This year was the first time Madison County Fair sanctioned with the NILE and they'll be sending their hometown team to Billings for the ranch rodeo finals.

Along with an invitation to the NILE this October the first place team gets buckles, and prize money.

The Dragging Y Ranch from Dillon won second place. They already qualified to compete at the NILE by winning the ConneXion Ranch Rodeo in July.

Third place was awarded to Horse Creek Hay & Cattle from Sheridan, Montana. Fourth place went to Hair Pin Ranch from Jackson, Montana. Snowline Grazing Association from Lima, Montana took fifth place. From Belgrade, Montana, Askin Livestock won sixth place. Strawberry Ridge Ranch won seventh place and Bar BD Ranch came in eighth place.

To promote good horsemanship, sportsmanship, and teamwork a Top Hand and Top Horse award are given out to those that exemplify top qualities. The Top Hand and rider of the Top Horse take home a custom jackets. George Hirsch from the Dragging Y Ranch won Top Hand. Ben Folsom from the Hair Pin Ranch rode the Top Horse.
