It has been 16 years. We have grown up a lot
in 16 years. Kol Yakov Yehuda now caters to close to 200 Lubavitch Kids every shabbos and with programming throughout the year. As our numbers and programs have grown two things have stayed the same, our congregation is run by the children and our funding does not.
That is why we do our anuual Maftir Yonah Appeal. The maftir Yonah appeal is the unique opportunity to have all the zechusim of a group maftir Yonah. The zechusim are many and "ashrei chelkom" of all those that participate.
