Magra Overcrossing Closes This Week 
 

The Magra Overcrossing will be closed to local traffic starting this Sunday, September 21 and is projected to reopen on Monday, October 13.  

 

Local Traffic Detour is as follows:

  • From Rollins Lake/Magra Road, take Norton Grade Road towards Interstate 80.
  • Take Interstate 80 onramp westbound toward Colfax
  • Take the 174 Exit towards South Auburn Street
  • Take Route 174/80 separator east towards Canyon Way
  • Take Canyon Way north towards eastbound Interstate 80
  • Head east on the Interstate 80 onramp towards Magra
  • Take eastbound Secret Town Road offramp towards Magra Road

 

Interstate 80 at Magra Road

I-80 at Magra will be closed to all traffic from 11 PM to 5 AM on September 23 and September 24 for the lifting process.

Interstate 80 at Rollins Lake Road/Magra Road (Exit 139)

The on and offramp at Rollins Lake Road/Magra Road on westbound I-80 is closed until October 31. Motorists advised to take the Secret Town exit.

Be Work Zone Alert
We remind drivers to slow their speed in the work zone. Workers are working within inches of live traffic. Traffic is unpredictable and sudden slowing or stopping may occur. Please do not peer into work zones as this can cause collisions if drivers are not paying attention to their driving.
