When the weather is nice (and when it's not so nice, actually) Mags and his sister love to spend time in their backyard. One day, a particularly fascinating
noise got their attention.
It was a momma raccoon warning everyone to stay away from her little ones! Everyone was okay...but if everything WASN'T okay, HAWS' Animal Rescue Team would have been ready to help!
Our Rescue Team has the
skills, knowledge and equipment to help just about any animal get out of danger and back to safety. From nets and ladders to sedation and humane traps, HAWS makes sure the lost
dogs, cats, raccoons, deer, ducks, donkeys, wallabies, alligators, scorpions (yes, wallabies, alligators and scorpions!) and whatever other creature we encounter makes it where they need to go. We work with local
wildlife experts, foster injured domestic pets and treat many a broken wing or limb.
Mags hopes he never has to encounter momma raccoon again. He also hopes all his friends in the animal kingdom know HAWS is
there for them!
