Kick-Off in the Park
Hannibal Free Public Library’s Summer Reading Program kicks off 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 at Central Park

The event will be held at the Library in case of rain. Musical chairs, parachutes, photo props, press-on tattoos, and other activities are planned. Babies, children, teenagers, and adults can sign up and participate in Summer Reading, which runs through July 25.
Everyone is invited to this free event. The Friends of the Library will sell refreshments as a fundraiser.

“Loving Vincent” 8:30 p.m. June 1 at Huckleberry Park
The movie is an animated biographical film about the life of painter Vincent van Gogh. It is the first fully painted animated feature film. Each of the film's 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas, using the same technique as Van Gogh, created by a team of 125 painters. T
he movie is PG13.
The movie will be shown at sunset, about 8:30 p.m., on the former racquetball courts. Blankets and low lawn chairs are suggested. The Ramp Park concession stand will be open until 9 p.m.

The Hannibal Arts Council & General Mills have partnered with the
Hannibal Hoots for the 1st Black Out Night at Clemens Field for the
Hannibal Hoots vs. Danville Dans game
Prior to the game, 5 p.m. HAC will be hosting “Art in the Park” with artists creating, musicians performing and children and families actively creating art through hands-on projects. Game time is 6:35 p.m.
