Track-out on streets and roads can be a point source for airborne fugitive dust commonly known as PM (Particulate Matter). PM ranges in size, but PM sized at 10 microns known as PM10 or sized at 2.5 microns known as PM2.5, are particle sizes regulated by local and federal environmental groups to manage air quality. The best solution is to remove as much of the ultra-fine dust particulates that are causing the problem.
